Brian Matiash
I am a photographer who specializes in urban architectural landscapes and commercial/retail spaces. I often utilize a photographic post-processing technique called HDR, High Dynamic Range. This technique allows me to bring a higher level of detail, texture and tone than normally captured by today’s digital cameras. The result is a much more dramatic depiction and closer to what the human eye actually sees.
I am currently an editor at HDR-Spotting, the leading online HDR Gallery, showcasing some of the best HDR work out there today. Some of my work has gained media recognition and has been published in the Boston Globe, the Improper Bostonian, and several online Photography and Travel Blogs. I was also the winner of the 2008 and 2009 Scott Kelby Worldwide Photo Walk Contests for the cities of Boston, MA (2008) and Brooklyn, NY (2009), and was featured as the Boston Globe’s ‘Photographer of the Week’.
For a little lesson in my history – I was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY but currently live in Framingham, MA with my wife, Lisa, and two dogs, Zilla and Chaca. You can see more on my website.
